CARE With Me is a Victorian based community volunteer program focused on working with you to support all children and young people who are in government care receive culturally suitable support. Some of the children and young people we work with can't be with their families for one reason or another and might be going through the child protection system Out-Of-Home-Care (OOHC), such as foster care or kinship care. Others might have come to Australia without their families or guardians and are placed in care until they turn 18, such as those going through the Un-Accompanied Minors (UAM) program.
Often children and young people in various government care programs lose their Cultural and Religious identity if a suitable cultural plan is not developed and implemented and that's where we come in.
